Institutions that carry BAC endorsement and the BAC mark therefore represent some of the leading and most reliable private colleges and training providers in the UK.In March 2015, LSM Education received accreditation for four years as an online, distance and blended learning provider from the British Accreditation Council (BAC) for Independent Further and Higher Education.

The UK has a well-deserved reputation worldwide for the quality and breadth of its higher education provision. There are well over 100 institutions in the UK that are permitted to award a wide variety of degrees, which are known as “recognised bodies”. In addition to these bodies, there are also several hundred colleges and other institutions which do not have degree-awarding powers, but who provide complete courses that lead to recognised UK degrees. These courses are validated by recognised bodies. Such colleges and institutions are known as “listed bodies”. We are recognised by the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills as a listed body, meaning that we offer complete courses leading to recognised UK degrees. Further details can be found here.

As of August 2014, due to tightening visa regulations, we made the decision to withdraw our support to students requiring a Tier 4 (General) visa to study in the UK. Instead, we made it possible for non-EU students to study at one of our Local Access Points (LAPs) or to study online with us. In doing so, we have allowed our international students to avoid the cost and complication of moving to the UK to study, with still gaining a globally recognised qualification.
