The Local Access Point for LSM Education in St. Lucia is located at National Research and Development Foundation (NRDF), a private, Non-Governmental, non-profit organisation established on April 26,1983 under the laws of St. Lucia to promote research and development and the expansion of the economic development of St. Lucia.

NRDF emerged from the Caribbean Research Centre St. Lucia (1978-1983), a similar Non-Government, non-profit institution created to co-ordinate, support, and undertake socio-economic research projects.

The organisation is currently the only approved and registered Association of Business Executive (ABE) teaching centre in Saint Lucia, a partner of Research Development International (RDI) to offer the Saint Lucian populace undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Business Management through the Universities of Leicester and Sunderland.

The NRDF however is not only about its collaborations and affiliations, the organization also sees itself as a second chance institution or a beacon of hope as portrayed by our emblem for those individuals who, due to circumstances, were unable to finish secondary school. With its full suite of certificate courses and courses endorsed by the University of the West Indies (UWI), the NRDF provides the foundational and prerequisite courses needed for persons interested in pursuing either academia or professional designations in business or accounting.
